Horses and dogs have been a part of Nancy's life from the very beginning. She was raised on a Montana/Idaho cattle ranch where horses were used as a natural part of doing the everyday ranch work. Stock dogs were also working partners and used to gather and move the cattle from pasture to pasture. The family also operated Crystal Brothers Rodeo. During difficult years the Rodeo Company supplemented the ranch and kept the family operation going.
The rodeo stock added another dimension to Nancy's growing abilities with horses. She became an accomplished barrel racer and team roper and was a fierce competitor in both events.
But race horses entered the picture and Nancy was drawn like a duck to water. Big, tall running horses with hot blood and souls afire were her main focus and passion. She became an owner and trainer of Thoroughbred race horses for over 30 years - and the passion still runs strong. What became important was not just training them, but getting them back up and running after an injury. Horses are no different than people when it comes to being injured and laid off - they resist and fight their recovery time.
Almost 16 years ago, Nancy was introduced to the Electro-Acuscope and immediately realized the huge advantage it would provide in her total operation. She trained and received her certification as an Acuscope Therapist and began a long career of rehabilitating race horses. She has worked with the top trainers and veterinarians in the world of Thoroughbred racing and is happy to call many of them "friends." They have put some of racing's elite horses in her hands to work her "magic" using the Acuscope/Myoscope combination.
She now brings all this knowledge to the table as an instructor for Animal Therapy Systems and is excited to train additional therapist in the amazing world of Electro-Acuscope technology.
